U Thein Htike
略歴
1991年に来日し京都にて日本語を習得後、滋賀大学教育学部、京都大学経済学部、京都大学大学院農学研究科修士課程で学ぶ。
その後、駐日ミャンマー大使館において大使付き通訳・翻訳を担当し、外交・政治・経済分野における高難度の日緬通訳業務に従事。 大使館退職後は、医療福祉系の大学でアドバイザーとして外国人医療・福祉人材の受入れ事業に携わる(現在も継続)。
2019年よりミャンマー人材の育成・送出し事業にも従事し、教育・国際人材交流の分野で活動を広げている。
Career Summary
After arriving in Japan in 1991 and completing Japanese language studies in Kyoto, pursued academic training at the Faculty of Education, Shiga University; the Faculty of Economics, Kyoto University; and the Master’s Program at the Graduate School of Agriculture, Kyoto University.
Subsequently served as Interpreter and Translator to the Ambassador at the Embassy of Myanmar in Japan, providing high level Japanese–Myanmar interpretation across diplomatic, political, and economic sectors.
After leaving the Embassy, appointed as an Advisor at a university specializing in health and welfare, contributing to programs supporting the acceptance and integration of foreign medical and welfare personnel, a role maintained to the present.
Since 2019, has also been engaged in the development and dispatch of Myanmar human resources, further expanding professional involvement in the fields of education and international human resource exchange.
